Jonathan Selwyn

Jonathan has been with UK CEED since 1991 and was appointed Executive Director in 1999. He is a graduate in Economics and has a Masters in Environmental Economics. He has led the Center's work in environmental management, transport and energy issues for ten years.

He also has considerable experience in information and communications technologies, water environmental issues, environmental education and stakeholder engagement. He is Deputy Chairman of Peterborough Environment City Trust, sits on the Board of the Centre for Sustainable Engineering and is a member of the core management team of the Energy Savings Trust Anglia Advice Centre.


David Anderson

David Anderson, has had a long and distinguished career in financial management. In the early 1970's, David started one of the first independent, privately owned futures brokers in London, and was instrumental in developing innovative methods for investing in futures and options. He subsequently sold his interest in that company and became a founder and Chairman of ED&F Man Group PLC, a London-based commodities investment firm.

David is a founder and former Chairman of the Association for Futures, and is a member of The Securities Institute. A pastChairman of the formation committee of the International Petroleum Exchange, he was also Vice Chairman of the London Commodity Exchange and a council member of the Association of Futures Brokers and Dealers, which became the Securities and Futures Association (SFA) and was subsequently merged into the Financial Services Authority (FSA). As a director of the Securities and Investments Board (SIB), he played a key role in implementing the Financial Services Act of 1986 in the U.K.


Cyril Chu

Mr. Chu has extensive consulting experience in the not-for-profit sector with multinationals, Government agencies and international NGOs based in India, China, Myanmar, Nepal, Taiwan, Thailand, USA, UK, and several Pacific island countries. Since mid-2007, Mr. Chu has been involved with Eco Positive to introduce carbon audit standards, carbon projects, and credit portfolio management systems from U.K. into Greater China to bring attention to and help industries combat global warming.

Equipped with solid business consulting and multi-billion dollar inter-governmental contract experience, he has committed himself since 2001 to work mainly with NPOs as a personal quest. His diversified client base ranges from Shaolin Temple, Tibetan government in exile, UNESCO historical heritage site of Wuyi Mountain, Manchu Institute Centre in UK, native American tribes in Arizona, Buddhist monastery in Myanmar, and conservation sites from Nepal to Colorado.

Despite working full-time with various NPOs and industries, Harvard trained Mr. Chu is also known as a travel essayist of nearly 40 books and a famous columnist in Chinese language, notably in the area of responsible tourism and international volunteerism.
